Attachment and anger
Part of an ongoing series of teachings based on Shantideva’s classic text, "Bodhisattvacharyavatara", often translated as “Engaging in the Bodhisattva’s Deeds.” Venerable Thubten Chodron also refers to the outline of the commentary by Gyaltsab Dharma Rinchen and the commentary by the Abbot Dragpa Gyaltsen.
- Do two wrongs really make a right?
- Causes for the harm we receive
- Doing practices that create merit and developing loving thoughts for others
- Removing the fuel of attachment from the fire of anger
- Giving up what makes us cling to bitter feelings
- Enduring minor suffering now to learn to endure lower rebirths
- Is anger ever useful for us and others?
- How poor reputation affects our capacity to benefit others
