A thought …
By L. B.
I am including an insight/thought that I had the other day as I was thinking about my past:
Can you imagine the pain and sorrow that a person would feel when he realizes that his entire life has been one of selfish disregard for how he has hurt others with his crimes and acts of physical violence?
Can you imagine the great good that this person could do by using this realization of his wrongs to show others how they can overcome their own wrongs and learn to love and forgive themselves?
Incarcerated people
Many incarcerated people from all over the United States correspond with Venerable Thubten Chodron and monastics from Sravasti Abbey. They offer great insights into how they are applying the Dharma and striving to be of benefit to themselves and others in even the most difficult of situations.
