reviewing knowledge (Pali: paccavekkhaṇañāṇa)
In stream-enterers, oncereturners, and nonreturners, it is a knowledge in post-meditation time that reviews the path, its fruition, the defilements abandoned, the defilements that remain, and nirvāṇa. Arhats have no reviewing knowledge of defilements that remain.
