once-returner (sakṛdāgāmin, sakadāgāmi, Tibetan: lan gcig phyir ’ong pa)
A Fundamental Vehicle ārya who has abandoned three of the lower fetters and significantly reduced sensual desire and malice and who will be born in the desire realm at maximum only one time before attaining nirvāṇa.
