Online: Courageous Compassion
Jun 16, 2021 –
Webinar with Thubten Chodron
Wednesday, June 16
7:00 - 8:00 p.m. PDT
How can we practice compassion in our daily lives, especially in this time of pandemic and social upheaval?
Join Buddhist nun, author, and teacher Thubten Chodron as she shares about and reads from "Courageous Compassion," the sixth and latest book in a multi-volume series she is co-authoring with His Holiness the Dalai Lama on the Buddhist path to awakening.
By learning how realized practitioners across Buddhist traditions have opened their hearts to others, we will be inspired to actualize our own potential, beginning with developing the good qualities already within us.
Take Away from the Workshop:
1. Learn about the content of Courageous Compassion, Ven. Thubten Chodron's latest book co-authored with His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
2. Learn about the practices that help us to generate compassion found across multiple Buddhist traditions.
3. Learn about how to put these practices to generate compassion into practice in our daily lives.
