Bhikkhu Anālayo

Bhikkhu Anālayo was born in Germany in 1962 and ordained in Sri Lanka in 1995, where he completed a PhD on satipatthana published in 2003 in the UK, which has quickly become a bestseller with translations in ten languages done or under way. As a professor of Buddhist Studies with well over 200 academic publications, he is a leading scholar worldwide in research on early Buddhism, with a special emphasis on the topics of meditation and women in Buddhism.
