Conflict and Compassion: Opening Our Hearts When Our Views Differ
Public talks by Venerable Thubten Chodron
Sunday September 8, 2019
9:15 am and 11:00 am
We expect our friends to share our views and values, but sometime we find ourselves on opposing sides. What happened? How do we keep cool heads, open hearts, and find common ground without blame and judgment?
Buddhist nun Venerable Thubten Chodron shares how bringing compassion into personal conflicts helps us to listen and act with clarity and wisdom. With compassion we can open the door to understanding, forgiveness, and long-term benefit for ourselves and others.
Venerable Chodron will give different talks for both services, so come for either or both.
The Service will be livestreamed and archived at this link
