The basis for the retreat is the second volume, The Foundation of Buddhist Practice, from the series The Library of Wisdom and Compassion by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Venerable Thubten Chodron. The retreat will explain the important lessons that will help us to build a thriving Dharma practice. The foundation of Buddhist practice begins with the four seals shared by all Buddhist philosophies, and goes on to explain the reliable knowledge that enables us to evaluate the truthfulness of Buddha's teachings. The book contains many other essential Buddhist teachings including the relationship of a spiritual mentor and a disciple, how to structure a meditation session, dying and rebirth, a fruitful explanation of karma and its results and much more.
Retreat mit der Ehrwürdigen Thubten Chodron: The Foundation of Buddhist Practice
Die Grundlage für das Retreat bildet das zweite Band Die Grundlage der buddhistischen Praxis aus der Reihe The Library of Wisdom and Compassion, welches Thubten Chodron mit S.H. dem Dalai Lama erstellt hat.Im Retreat werden die wichtigen Lehren erläutert, die uns helfen werden, eine blühende Dharma-Praxis aufzubauen. Die Grundlage der buddhistischen Praxis beginnt mit den vier Siegeln, die von allen buddhistischen Philosophien geteilt werden, und geht zu einer Erklärung der zuverlässigen Erkenntnis über, die es uns ermöglicht, die Wahrhaftigkeit der Lehren des Buddha zu bewerten. Das Buch enthält viele weitere wesentliche buddhistische Lehren, darunter: die Beziehung eines spirituellen Mentors und Schülers; wie man eine Meditationssitzung strukturiert; Sterben und Wiedergeburt; eine fruchtbare Erklärung von Karma und seinen Ergebnissen und vieles mehr.
