How to See Yourself as You Really Are
A 3-day online course with Venerable Thubten Chodron
Saturday, May 23, 9:00 a.m. -
Monday, May 25, 11:50 a.m.
Course is taught over Vimeo Livestream
What's the root of all our problems? We don't know who we are and how things actually exist. This is the very heart of the Buddha's teaching.
Venerable Thubten Chodron teaches from the final chapters of the book, How to See Yourself as You Really Are, by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and translated by Jeffrey Hopkins, to help us understand ourselves and our world from a more realistic—and loving—perspective. As these teachings delve into philosophy, some background in Buddhist thought is helpful, but not required. To prepare, you can see previous years’ teachings on our YouTube Channel.
Teachings and meditations will be streamed on Livestream. Discussions held over Zoom. To participate in the Zoom discussion groups, you must commit to attend all session and register by writing the office. We’ll send the Zoom link closer to the retreat date.
