Humans: Many Cultures, One Species
Public talk with Venerable Chodron
Tuesday, September 29
6:30 - 8:00 pm
"Survival of the fittest" has been the motto in support of Western individualism, but Buddhism offers a different view. His Holiness the Dalai Lama often speaks about the “survival of the most cooperative” as the essential factor sustaining human society. Join Buddhist nun Thubten Chodron as she explores what we share in common as a human species, and how we can look beyond apparent differences to work together for the flourishing of our communities and societies.
