    Venerable Thubten Chodron is one of the first generation of Americans to study the Dharma in Asia and ordain as a Buddhist nun. With over 40 years of ordination, she speaks about the transmission of the bhikshuni lineage to Western nuns. As the founder of Sravasti Abbey, the first training monastery for Westerners in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition in the US, she offers first-hand experience and insights on the challenges and opportunities of establishing and developing a fully ordained sangha in the West.

Follow in the footsteps of these great masters on this weekend retreat with Venerable Thubten Chodron, who will teach on the ways to cultivate this marvelous mental state and all its benefits. The retreat will end with a visit to the historical Muaro Jambi temple complex for prayers and dedications at this holy site.
