Nyung Ne retreat is a wonderful opportunity to deepen your refuge and strengthen your relationship with Chenrezig, Buddha of Compassion.
The retreat includes taking the 8 Mahayana precepts, making many prostrations, and one day of refraining from all food, drink and talking aside from reciting prayers and mantra. Nyung Ne brings powerful purification and generates vast amounts of merit.
The nun Bhikshuni Palmo originated the Nyung Ne practice in India many centuries ago, healing herself from leprosy and gaining bodhisattva realizations.
Applicants should have some familiarity with Chenrezig practice and be in good health, especially being free of hypo- or hyper-glycemic concerns including diabetes.
A dana offering and registration form are requested to reserve your place for the retreat.
Arrive by 3:00 on Friday. Retreat begins with a live-streamed Lamrim teaching that begins promptly at 5:55. Retreat ends after breakfast on Monday, with no late arrivals or early departures.
