Prison Poetry 
May 27, 2014 
Is your life troubled with impatience
Or ruled by dependence
Do your results seem to come too slow
Yet your desire is to learn and know
Do not fall prey to despair
And think there is no one who cares
For those who know and teach the way
Will listen to what you have to say
Then teach you what to do
For it’s with wisdom that they guide you
Just remember Buddha did not see the light
In just one day or night
It took years
To get past the woes of life and all his fears
Then he passed that knowledge down to me and you
So that we could have enlightenment too
When your patience wears thin
Remember Buddha and try again
